Commissioned at the end of 2010, the airport terminal stands as a significant example in strengthening urban identity with its unique architecture and structural steel system characteristics. The structure stands out as a steel space frame application with its remarkable 60-meter clear span.
In addition to the fabrication of the structural steel construction forming the building’s main framework, POLARKON has designed and implemented, with a holistic approach, all details of the roof and façade systems that constitute the building envelope and give the structure its architectural identity.
