In 2019, POLARKON has executed the design, engineering, manufacturing and installation of space frame structures of one of the most prestigious universities in Kuwait, Sabah Al Salem University.
The university’s convocational hall, central administration building, library building and congress hall buildings are covered with space frame structures in the campus. The space frame in the form of elliptical dome that covers the Convocational Hall draws attention as the most iconic and extraordinary structure of this project and in the campus itself. The critical span and height of the elliptical dome in the short and long directions are 68-meters, 84-meters and 50-meters, respectively.
