With the aim of being able to use coal that is utilized in Manisa, Türkiye, without being exposed to external weather conditions; existing coal bunker areas have been covered with space frame construction which covers a total area of 36.000 square meter, with a critical span of 100-meter. For the vaulted roof construction, POLARKON has achieved a 35 kilograms per square meter. With the space frame roof application, the existing stock areas have obtained a wide working area with a critical span of 100-meter, whereas the environmental pollution has been prevented by protecting the bunker coal from outdoor conditions. By this way, the total efficiency has been substantially increased.
